As a platform, Omnisend’s goal is to simplify ecommerce marketing so that everyone feels like a pro when using it. The same philosophy goes for the Omnisend blog. We want our content to help you feel just as confident as our platform does. That’s why we aim to give you well-informed advice, backed by research and our own data.
Our editorial principles guide everything we publish: how we choose what to cover, how we verify what we write, and how we keep our content honest and current. We follow a careful review process, and we correct mistakes quickly when we find them.
Editorial decisions for the blog belong to our Content and SEO teams alone. What we cover, how we frame it, and what we recommend isn’t shaped by sales goals or partner relationships. If a post mentions Omnisend, it’s because the topic calls for it — not because the post exists to sell it.
Every article starts with research, moves through a full draft, and is reviewed by multiple people on our team before it’s published.
For topics that require specialized knowledge, we bring in a subject-matter expert (sometimes from outside our company) to review the content before it goes live. In these cases, you’ll see a “Reviewed by” byline naming that expert.
A “Reviewed by” credit means the expert checked the article for technical accuracy. It doesn’t mean they wrote the article or decided what it recommends. Our editorial team keeps that control, even when an outside expert is involved.
We rely on our own data and experience first, since we work with thousands of ecommerce brands and have that direct insight. If outside research is useful, we look for recent, credible sources and link to them directly. We don’t rely on secondhand summaries or unverified statistics.
Our blog is written, edited, and reviewed by a team of 10+ people, including marketers, writers, editors, and subject-matter experts, plus a handful of outside contributors. Every post is written by a real person. You can see who’s behind our content and what they specialize in on our authors page. We occasionally work with outside contributors, but only trusted partners under our published guest contribution standards.
Marketing platforms, pricing, and best practices change, so we regularly revisit our most-read and time-sensitive articles to keep facts and figures up to date. Accuracy checks happen throughout our review process, and if we get something wrong, we fix it as soon as we know.
Spot something that looks off? Email us at [email protected], and we’ll review it and correct confirmed errors as soon as possible.
We don’t reject the use of AI — it’s a helpful tool when used responsibly. We use it for research, to dig into topics faster, and to streamline our internal workflows. But when it comes to published content, every article you read on the Omnisend blog is written and edited by a person.
Many of our articles compare marketing platforms, including Omnisend, against competitors. Every comparison follows the same standard: hands-on evaluation, consistent criteria, real usage. No vendor can pay for placement or a better ranking in these comparisons.
We’re upfront that Omnisend is our own product, but that doesn’t stop us from being honest in our comparisons. Where a competitor is genuinely the better choice for a given use case, we recommend it. You can read our full review methodology on our How we review page.
