Modern Slavery Statement for Financial Year 2024
Omnisend Limited
Introduction
At Omnisend, doing the right thing matters. While we operate as a digital-first company with a relatively low risk of exposure to modern slavery, we recognise our responsibility to stay vigilant, assess potential risks, and expect high standards of conduct from both our team and our partners. Modern slavery has no place in our operations or supply chain.
Reporting Entities
This statement on modern slavery and human trafficking is made on behalf of Omnisend Limited and its subsidiaries, Omnisend, UAB and Omnisend, Inc., in accordance with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015. References to “we”, “us”, “our”, and “Omnisend” collectively refer to these companies. This statement covers the financial year ending 31 December 2024 and outlines the steps we are taking to help prevent modern slavery-related risks in our business and supply chains.
Our Business
Omnisend is a global SaaS company providing marketing automation solutions for ecommerce businesses. Our platform enables merchants to manage and streamline their customer communications across multiple channels, including email, SMS, and push notifications, all within a single environment.
Our operations are primarily digital, with no physical manufacturing or warehousing operations. Our core functions include software development, product management, sales, marketing, and customer support. These activities are carried out by distributed teams located primarily across Europe and North America.
Our Supply Chain
Omnisend’s supply chain reflects the nature of our digital-first business. Our key suppliers are typically in the fields of technology, data, cloud infrastructure, workplace services, and professional advisory support. We primarily rely on established technology vendors, including cloud infrastructure providers such as Google Cloud, as well as trusted partners for legal, financial, and operational services.
While we do not operate in high-risk sectors such as manufacturing or logistics, we remain aware that risks related to modern slavery can exist in any supply chain. We hence are committed to working with suppliers who uphold high ethical standards and to reviewing our supplier relationships with this in mind.
Risk Awareness and Due Diligence
Reflecting the nature of our operations and the types of suppliers we engage, we assess the overall risk of modern slavery and human trafficking within our business and supply chains as low. However, we recognise that no supply chain is entirely without risk, particularly in a global context. Therefore, we remain vigilant and proactive in addressing potential issues – our approach includes a combination of internal expectations and practical measures:
- Due diligence when engaging vendors, suppliers, and service providers, taking into account the nature of the services provided and the regions in which they operate.
- Screening suppliers and partners against global watchlists and publicly available media to identify potential ethical or legal concerns.
- Preference for established, reputable technology and professional service providers that demonstrate legal and ethical compliance.
When concerns are identified, whether directly or publicly, we take responsible and strategic action to safeguard our interests, which may include escalating for further review, renegotiating key terms, or – where necessary – terminating the relationship. This approach reflects our commitment to responsible business practices and continuous awareness, even in a lower-risk environment.
Workplace Standards and Conditions
We are building a workplace where people feel safe, supported, and treated fairly in their day-to-day work. Our commitment to ethical conduct and transparency is shaped by company-wide values and standards, reinforced by internal communication and policies – such as the Work Ethics Policy, and Equal Opportunities Policy – which set expectations for behaviour and help ensure fair, respectful treatment for all employees.
Learning is a core pillar in our way of work. Employees have access to internal training, online courses, and workshops that support professional growth and build understanding of our values, culture, and organisational processes. This is further supported by an unlimited learning budget, which allows individuals to pursue development opportunities relevant to their roles and responsibilities.
To support well-being, Omnisend offers private health insurance, flexible work arrangements, and access to mental health initiatives – such as unlimited psychotherapy sessions – ensuring our team is supported both professionally and personally.
