This is a no-fluff update that brings the improvements that matter the most, and help you with the little things, like reducing the number of clicks it takes to do something.

Now you can enjoy a simpler navigation, a sleek and cleaner feel, and smoother workflows. You’ll find what you need quicker than before, and everything should feel that much easier.

Read on for the details, or watch Arnas’ overview if you’re short on time:

Smarter email creation with Omnisend AI

First off the starting blocks, our AI tools will help you get things done easier and faster.

Our AI Subject Line Generator now has improved visibility and accessibility. To quickly generate a line, simply click the AI icon and then use the slash ( / ) shortcut:

You can also generate subject lines in your automated emails, not just campaigns. Once you’ve written a subject line with Omnisend AI, a suggested pre-header will automatically appear:

And lastly, Omnisend AI now matches your writing style based on your web store. Your subject lines, pre-headers, and email body content will maintain your brand’s tone of voice and personality.

Higher conversation rates with the Wheel of Fortune

Previously, the Wheel of Fortune discount codes were displayed on the on-site success message. But not anymore. Now, these discount codes can be sent by email too. This can help to reduce the number of fake signups, make sure your visitors redeem their codes, and improve your conversion rates.

Forms that flex: Enhanced multi-step options

Our multi-step forms just got even better: now you can take your creativity even further by having multiple buttons that go to the same place. As the example below shows, you can use this to inject some fun by using different words to go to the same place — ramping up the enthusiasm between them. Experiment with layouts, wording, and design, and see where your creativity takes you.

Audience management just got smarter

We’ve made a few changes to managing your audience. One of these is giving you more control over managing and reviewing your audience data. When you view your contacts table, you’ll now have the option to choose which columns you want to see — or not see.

Customizable columns

When you export contacts, you’ll now see the contact’s on-site activity such as page views and clicks. This allows you to comply with GDPR right-to-access requests:

And the third change is when you add tags to contacts, you’ll immediately see the entire list of existing tags to help you prevent duplicates:

Deeper, actionable data in your reports & ecommerce insights

Your back-in-stock reports now offer you more detail. Click on any product and you can see not only who has requested to be notified when the item is back in stock, but also their:

  • Name
  • Contact details
  • Date of requests

Armed with this information, you’ll have an easier time of prioritizing what to restock and be able to have personal follow-ups with VIP customers.

There’s also been an update to the Store Health dashboard for custom API stores, which now shows the Events API success ratio to help with identifying event delivery issues faster:

And we’ve got great news for anyone managing multiple WooCommerce stores from one WordPress installation: Omnisend is compatible with version 1.16.0 and above of WordPress Multisite.

Supporting both sub-domain and sub-directory configuration, you can connect and manage multiple WooCommerce stores from a single multisite setup, without installing Omnisend on each site manually.

SMS deliverability and compliance

Keyword matching has been expanded, which improves the identification of subscribe and unsubscribe intents. This aids with compliance, particularly for SMS campaigns in the USA and Canada.

Keywords to subscribe are:

  • Join
  • Subscribe
  • Start

To unsubscribe:

  • Unsubscribe
  • Cancel
  • Quit
  • End
  • Opt out
  • Optout
  • Opt-out
  • Stop all

A message will be considered “genuine intent” if it begins with or contains one of these keywords.

You’ll also now see an in-app warning regarding delivery restrictions if you’re sending SMS to China. The warning will also inform you of the need for whitelisting, which helps to set expectations before sending your messages.
