What’s new: Omnisend’s November 2024 updates

Reading Time: 3 minutes

The holiday rush is coming fast, and we know you’ve got a million campaigns to plan. And while you’re getting ready for that, we’ve also been busy adding new features and little tweaks to make your life at least a tiny bit easier. Think of it as an early holiday gift from us to you.

So, whether you’re looking for new automations, forms, or integration updates, this month’s uodates have you covered big time.

If you’re short on time, catch our quick video recap below, or read on to dive into the details:

Reusable discount codes in automation messages

You asked, we delivered! Now you can use the same discount code across different automation workflows in both emails and SMS.

This update saves you time and reduces the need for creating multiple codes. It’s now available for Shopify, BigCommerce, and WooCommerce stores.

Plus, unique discount codes are now available for SMS on BigCommerce and WooCommerce.

Easier access to SMS dynamic discount codes

Finding SMS discount codes just got simpler. We’ve added a dedicated section for dynamic codes, so you can easily add them to your messages.

More flexibility with TZO

Previously, campaigns with TZO (Time Zone Optimization) were locked 12 hours before sending, making last minute changes impossible. Now, you can update these campaigns right up until they send.

Plus, TZO campaigns will only show as Started once they’re actually live, making it easier to track.

Control form visibility based on source

Your forms just got a lot smarter! We’ve added new options to show or hide forms based on where your visitors are coming from. For example:

  • Show forms to visitors from Omnisend emails to increase SMS signups
  • Hide forms for visitors from social media like Facebook or Instagram

New border customization for forms

You can now personalize the border color, style, width, and radius in forms. Check out the Form Styles side panel for these new options, available across all form types (popups, flyouts, landing pages, and embedded forms).

Make your forms pop with custom triggers

Forms can now pop up based on custom triggers, like clicking a specific button on your site! This opens new ways to engage visitors at just the right moment.

Say goodbye to vague error messages

We’ve updated the error messages for domain verification issues like duplicate SPF records.

Now, if there’s a problem like a duplicate SPF record or a DMARC error, the message will be clearer and more detailed, helping you fix things faster and with less guesswork.

WooCommerce checkout blocks support

Omnisend now fully supports WooCommerce’s new Checkout Blocks.

This update allows for better opt-in capture and cart tracking, ensuring higher conversion rates and improved automations for abandoned carts.
