January always feels like a fresh start. The holiday rush has settled, inboxes are quieter, and it’s the perfect time to take a step back, look at what worked last year.

This month, we’re officially launching New Reports, giving you even more flexibility in data analysis. We’ve also enhanced the Wheel of Fortune, improved Shopify discount links, and introduced two new integrations to help you drive more engagement and customer loyalty.

And if you’d rather see these updates in action, watch our quick video recap down below.

New Reports officially launching January 16, 2025!

After months in beta, New Reports is now ready for full release! As of January 16, Classic Reports will be retired, making way for a more powerful and insightful reporting experience.

If you’ve already switched to New Reports, you’ll notice even more improvements, including the ability to export campaign and workflow data for deeper analysis and team collaboration. You can also now access detailed contact activity lists, giving you a clearer picture of how individual subscribers engage with your emails and automations.

For those still using Classic Reports, now’s the time to switch. The improved experience makes it easier than ever to track performance, uncover trends, and make data-driven decisions. Need help making the transition? Check out o

Wheel of Fortune just got even better

One of our most requested updates is here! The Wheel of Fortune has been upgraded with more customization options, making it even more effective for capturing leads and running promotions.

You now have full control over how your wheel looks and functions:

  • Customizable slices – assign different colors to each slice to match your branding
  • Text or images on slices – highlight your offers with text, visuals, or both
  • Flexible slice count – add or remove slices to tailor the wheel to your promotion
  • No more losing slices (if you want!) – you can now remove losing slices entirely, ensuring every spin is a win

If you’re planning a holiday promotion or ongoing lead capture campaign, these new options give you more ways to engage customers and drive conversions.

Shopify discount links, made better

If you’re using Shopify discount links in your email campaigns, we’ve made some key improvements to give you more flexibility and control.

Now, if you enable the “Apply Shopify discount link” option, links must match your Shopify store URL, ensuring customers land on the right page. If a mismatched link is entered, visitors will now be redirected to your homepage rather than an error page. Prefer to direct customers elsewhere? Simply disable the feature, and you’ll have the freedom to use any custom link you want.

This update gives you greater control over where customers are directed, making it easier to align your campaigns with your store’s needs.

Both tools are now available in the Omnisend App Market, ready to help you drive long-term customer value.

Smoother workflows with usability improvements

Alongside these big updates, we’ve made several small but impactful refinements to improve your experience across Omnisend.

The font picker in Forms now displays how fonts actually look, making customization more intuitive. In Saved Templates, you can now copy templates between brands, making it easier to streamline design and branding across multiple stores.

Exporting segments is now easier to find, with a dedicated option in the export modal. And if you’ve ever been confused about SMS message length, you’ll now see a detailed character count explaining how special characters like “like ė, é, or 😍” or emojis affect your total SMS cost.

You’ll also notice other subtle UI updates across the platform, all designed to make navigating and managing your campaigns smoother than ever.
